Responsibility
What are we responsible for in this world of ours? Well firstly, we are responsible for our own thoughts and actions. Now that might not seem like much but there are an awful lot of people who are not aware of this. Your thoughts, words and actions are very important. They can help to lift
people’s vibration or bring them down.
We are in this world together to live and learn, and by that l mean how to get along. How can we expect the world to change when we are constantly living our lives by someone else’s rules when, as Spiritualists, we abide by our rules of accepting people and their beliefs. Everyone has a right to live their life in peace and harmony, but somewhere along the way this too has been forgotten. Our responsibility is to remember we are all Spirit having a human experience. Now that may be hard for some people to accept but, that is a Spiritualist truth.
When we look at our lives, how many times has a situation got out of hand because of our words or actions? Now l am no saint so l have been as guilty as the next person, but we can all change the way in which we react. It is our responsibility to mind our words and not react so quickly to another person’s use of words to hurt us. Looking at the bigger picture what is that has got that person so upset that they feel justified in having a go at you.
Maybe we should just take a deep breath and be that responsible person and calm the situation rather than escalate it. We are a community and community look after one another. Our responsibility is to one another, to learn from one another, to learn how to live our best lives by being that person who can show up when help is needed.
Be that responsible person in this lifetime and lead by example. Let us as Spiritualists, be the light for people to follow as there is so much darkness around, we need to shine our light for the world to see.
